Helping your body help itself

OSTEOPATHY FOR ARTHRITIC PAIN

Osteoarthritis can affect most joints but is particularly common in the hip or knee. If you have arthritis it means that the surfaces inside your joints have worn down and you may experience pain, reduced movement and often enlargement of the joint.

People have different ways of dealing with arthritis. Some people choose surgical replacement when their pain is severe. I can help you prepare for your surgery, and also work with you to help with your recovery afterwards.

If you decide that the best way forward for you is to manage your arthritis without surgical intervention, I will help you. We will work together to reduce your pain and keep you moving the way you want to.

Arthritis Action is a UK based charity offering hands-on and practical help for people living with arthritis.  Members of Arthritis Action can attend two subsidised sessions per year with me where you can discuss your symptoms and current situation as well as your hopes and aspirations for the future in relation to your arthritis.  I use my knowledge and expertise to help you manage and improve your health and if it’s appropriate I also provide hands-on treatment in the sessions.
